Last night I decided to make sweet & sour spareribs along side steamed black bean spareribs. All because I had an extra 1 ½ pounds of spareribs.
In hindsight I should have frozen the extra spareribs for another meal.
As individual entrees they were delicious.
As a combo, they worked against each other in every possible way. Making your taste buds question your fork.
So if you thought it was a good idea to serve those dishes together as I did last night… Don’t do it.
Keep them as separate meals as they were intended to be and enjoy the individual flavors one meal at a time.
