Easy Spicy Double B Wings

Easy Spicy Baked Buffalo wings that you can whip up quickly with very little mess. I prefer Frank’s red hot sauce because that is what I have always used. The end result is a crispy sticky tangy chicken wing that is perfect for a snack or appetizer. Serve it with ranch or bleu cheese dressing and a few celery and carrot stick on the side to make you feel as if it is a little healthier. But we are talking about chicken wings so truly it is all about focusing on the finger licking indulgence.

After making these for the first time you can adjust the cayenne to make it spicier. I used granulated garlic because it is what I have but most people seem to have garlic salt so if you are subbing garlic salt for the granulated garlic cut back on the salt by at least half.

BAKED SPICY BUFFALO WINGS
16 whole wings, tips removed
FLOUR MIXTURE
¾ cup flour
½ tsp. cayenne
½ tsp. granulated garlic
½ tsp. salt
HOT SAUCE MIXTURE
1 cup Frank’s Red Hot Sauce
½ cup butter

Line a sheet pan with foil and spray with non stick coating.

Place hot sauce and butter in a small sauce pan and heat to let butter melt. Remove from heat and set aside.

Place dried wings in a large plastic bag and toss in the flour mixture to coat evenly. Place on the prepared sheet pan top side down. Bake in a 500 degree oven for 20 minutes. Dip in hot sauce mixture; flip and cook for another 10 minutes on the other side or until crispy. Dip in the hot sauce mixture one last time and serve with ranch or bleu cheese dressing on the side.
