PRINT RECIPE
This is one of my father-in-laws special Korean side dishes. I made this to go along side of the Kal Bi (Korean Beef Short Ribs). It was a light and crispy compliment to the meal.
Bean Sprout Namul
8 oz. bean sprouts
1 Tblsp. oil
½ tsp. garlic, minced (about 1 clove)
1 tsp. green onion, minced (about 2 sprigs)
SAUCE
½ tsp. salt
½ tsp. sugar
pinch black pepper
1 tsp. sesame seeds, toasted
1 tsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. sesame oil
Heat a non stick frying pan with 1 T. oil on high. CAREFULLY add bean sprouts (they hold a lot of water and will splatter) and garlic. (Add in this order so the garlic won’t burn). Toss to mix and add green onions then sauce. Toss again to mix. They are done.
