Kalua Pork with Cabbage

Pulled Hawaiian style smoked pork makes for a second meal as Stir Fried Kalua Pork with Cabbage. Simple flavors that make up a quick one pot meal that is sure to satisfy. The measurements are approximate. It all depends on how much kalua you have leftover.

KALUA PORK WITH CABBAGE
  1. Chop up half or a whole cabbage, depending on how much Oven Kalua Pork you have leftover.
  2. Slice half to a whole onion.
  3. Heat up your wok or sauté pan on high.
  4. Add about 1 Tbsp. oil to the pan and stir fry the onions to a nice brown but not soft to bring out the flavor.
  5. Add the cabbage and season with ½ tsp. kosher salt and a pinch of white pepper.
  6. Add about ¼ cup of water and cook covered for a couple of minutes to soften cabbage.
  7. When the cabbage is half cooked, uncover the wok add about 1 Tbsp. soy sauce and a pinch of sugar
  8. Add the kalua pork and let cook uncovered until the cabbage is cooked to your liking.
  9. Serve over rice.
